We should mention about the upset which took place in Torino, where bottom-ranked Perugia (0-1) lost to leader Torino (1-0) in a road game 61-74. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Torino. Perugia was better in fourth quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Power forward Filippo Baldi Rossi (207-91) nailed a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and naturalized Polish power forward Jakub Wojciechowski (210-90) accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds.
