The game between closely ranked teams ended with bottom-ranked Gansos' (0-10) road loss to fourteenth ranked Osos (2-8) 82-87 on Thursday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 25-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Gansos were plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Keith Gayden (202-83, college: Duquesne) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 rebounds. The other American import guard Marlyn Bryant (193-82, college: S.Florida) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Osos players scored in double figures. American swingman Royce Gaye (193-88, college: Tex.A&M-Kingsv.) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Jorge Perez (-85) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Gansos. Gansos' coach Luis Andres Garcia rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Osos moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Guerreros. Gansos at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with ten games lost. Osos will face Guerreros (#13) in the next round. Gansos will play against Gigantes and hope to get finally their first victory.
