The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Sydney Uni Flames (0-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by leader Canberra Capitals (1-0) 74-61. The game was mostly controlled by Canberra Capitals. Sydney Uni Flames managed to win third quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
