Regular Season Round 6: Tromso - Baerum Basket 75-56

An interesting game for Tromso (3-1) which hosted in Tromso 4th ranked Baerum Basket (2-3). Third ranked Tromso had an easy win 75-56. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Tromso forced 20 Baerum Basket turnovers. American players dominated the game. Forward Jonathan Jones (196-88, college: Kean) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Gary Wallace (187-88, college: Robert Morris, agency: TSS Management) supported him with 18 points and 4 assists. Four Tromso players scored in double figures. Tromso's coach Kenneth Webb used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points and 6 rebounds by swingman Ryan Ferranti (195-86, college: Rollins) did not help to save the game for Baerum Basket. Forward Keith Thompson (197-90, college: Utah Valley) added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks. Tromso have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 3-1 record behind leader Centrum. Loser Baerum Basket dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. Tromso will meet at home bottom-ranked Asker Aliens (#7) in the next round. Baerum Basket will play against the league's leader Centrum in Oslo and hope to secure a win.
