The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Sendai 89ers (1-1) in Mikawa on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by ninth ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (1-1) in overtime 86-81. Sendai 89ers trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 32-20 run in the last quarter tied the game at the end of regular time, But then they lost eventually overtime period 5-10.
