Regular Season Round 3: Talje - Hoganas 65-56

There was a minor upset when higher ranked Hoganas (1-2) were defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Talje Knights (1-2) 65-56 on Sunday. Hoganas were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was guard Sheriff Drammeh (186-96) who scored 26 points. Center Alexander Larsson (203-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian forward Nerijus Strazdauskas (198-84) who recorded 18 points and 8 rebounds and Lithuanian center Paulus Barauskas (201-81) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Talje Knights left bottom position moving up to seventh place in South, which they share with Hoganas and Hogsbo. Talje Knights will face higher ranked Haga Haninge (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
