Important game to mention about took place in Asker. Fifth ranked Froya Basket (3-3) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging bottom-ranked Asker Aliens (0-4) 107-106 on Sunday evening. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Latvian guard Edmunds Gabrans (190-79) scored 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Latvian point guard Reno Silavs (180-91) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Espen Stien (186-86) with 24 points and 8 assists and Swedish forward Elias Westerlund (197-88) scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. Asker Aliens at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Froya Basket will play against Ammerud Bskt (#6) in Oslo in the next round. Asker Aliens will play on the road against Tromso and hope to get finally their first victory.
