Very predictable result in Helsinki where leader Torpan Pojat (2-0) smashed bottom-ranked Kerava Energia Team (0-3) 83-53. The game without a history. It was an exceptional evening for the former international power forward Niina Laaksonen (185-85) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). International guard Vilma Kesanen (179-88) accounted for 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Italian-Ghanian guard Rosetta Adzasu (165-90, college: Washington St.) came up with 23 points and 5 steals and guard Henrika Suhonen (175-94) added 10 points respectively for Kerava Energia Team in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Torpan Pojat moved-up to third place, which they share with Honka. Kerava Energia Team at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. They share the position with TuRi. Torpan Pojat will play against Aanekosken (#8) in Aanekoski in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
