Regular Season Round 1: Tsmoki-Minsk II - Svisloch 97-89

There was a change at the Premier League leadership position after last games. The most important game of round 1 took place in Minsk between two undefeated teams where Tsmoki-Minsk II beat Svisloch (0-1) 97-89 on Friday night. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 42-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Tsmoki-Minsk II dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Svisloch's 36. Tsmoki-Minsk II forced 19 Svisloch turnovers. Svisloch at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with Borifsen and Rubon. They were replaced at the leadership position by Impuls BGUIR. Svisloch will play next round against strong Sozh Gomel trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Tsmoki-Minsk II will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Rubon in Vitebsk.
