The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Union Progresista's (2-6) home victory over 8th ranked La Union (1-8) 86-68 on Friday. The game without a history. Union Progresista led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was American forward Adrian Moss (203-81, college: Florida) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. British-American forward Darren Phillip (201-78, college: Fairfield) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Union Progresista's coach Jorge Lobera used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Gregory Lewis (200-78, college: Winthrop, agency: Dream Team Management) who recorded 14 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Nicolas Gianella (186-78) added 10 points respectively. Five Union Progresista and four La Union players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Union Progresista maintains seventh place in North with 2-6 record. La Union lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with eight games lost. Union Progresista will face again La Union (#8) in Formosa in the next round.
