Regular Season Round 3: Lille - Hyeres-Toulon 74-71

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Hyeres-Toulon (0-3) was edged on the road by eleventh ranked Lille Metropole (2-1) 74-71 on Friday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Hyeres-Toulon was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 9-point lead after three quarters before a 23-11 charge of Lille Metropole, which allowed them to win the game. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for Jason Siggers (188-85, college: Albany) who led his team to a victory with 30 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Steffon Bradford (198-78, college: Nebraska, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Lille Metropole's coach Abdourahmane N’Diaye allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Power forward Terence Dials (206-83, college: Ohio St.) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and guard Corey McIntosh (183-85, college: Iowa St.) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Hyeres-Toulon. Four Hyeres-Toulon players scored in double figures. Lille Metropole moved-up to third place, which they share with 7 other teams. Loser Hyeres-Toulon still closes the standings with three games lost. Lille Metropole will face Aix-Maurienne (#4) in Aix-les-Bains in the next round.
