There was a surprise result when ninth ranked Caja Laboral (2-1) defeated 4th placed G.Canaria 2014 (2-1) in Las Palmas 80-64. The game was mostly controlled by Caja Laboral. G.Canaria 2014 was better in second period 25-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Italian-Argentinian Andres Nocioni (199-79) who scored 24 points. Serbian power forward Nemanja Bjelica (209-88, agency: Interperformances) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Four Caja Laboral players scored in double figures.
