There was a surprise result in Szczecin where Wilki Morskie (1-1) defeated one of their biggest challengers Ksiezak Lowicz (1-1) 72-61 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 72-61. Wilki Morskie forced 30 Ksiezak Lowicz turnovers and outrebounded them 48-25 including a 37-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Piotr Wojdyr (217-90, agency: Promotex) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Radoslaw Bojko (196-91) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five Wilki Morskie players scored in double figures.
