There was a minor upset in Logrono where higher ranked Melilla Baloncesto (1-1) was defeated by tenth ranked CB Clavijo (1-1) 86-82 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 25-15 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Guard Alberto Ruiz de Galarreta (198-83) scored 21 points to lead the charge for the winners and center David Mesa (202-80) chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds during the contest.
