The game was mostly controlled by Handlova. Nova Ves was better in second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Handlova will play against league's second-placed Nitra in Nitra in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nova Ves will play on the road against Komarno (#4) to get more than just one victory in their record.
