Very expected game in Steinsel where 8th ranked Residence (1-3) was defeated by third ranked Amicale (3-1) 96-88. The hosts were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 8-point deficit before their 31-15 run, which allowed them to win the game. Amicale dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Residence's 38 and made 24-of-27 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Amicale players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Quite impressive performance for the former international guard Eric Jeitz (191-86) who helped to win the game recording 32 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Amicale and four Residence players scored in double figures. Amicale maintains third position with 3-1 record behind leader Etzella. Residence lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with three games lost. Amicale's next round opponent will be T71 (#7) in Dudelange. Residence will play at home against Black Star in Mersch and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
