The game in Aichi supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Denso Iris (4-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Toyota B SR (2-4). Denso Iris smashed Toyota B SR 71-40 on Sunday. The game without a history. Denso Iris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Toyota B SR to an opponent 19.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.7 percent accuracy of the winners and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for international guard Kumiko Oba (169-88) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. International forward Arisa Fujiwara (175-87) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and power forward Sakiko Nomachi (175-87) added 6 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Toyota B SR. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Denso Iris. They maintain fifth place with 4-2 record. Toyota B SR lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
