Rather predictable result when leader Yokohama BC (2-0) won against on the road bottom-ranked Saitama Broncos (0-2) 88-71 on Sunday. Yokohama BC looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. It was a good game for American guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul, agency: Top Notch Sports) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 12 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists. Swingman Masayuki Kabaya (183-82) contributed with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Four Yokohama BC players scored in double figures. point guard Takuma Yamashiro (167-85) answered with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists and American power forward Randall Orr (207-82, college: Georgia Perimeter) added 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks in the effort for Saitama Broncos. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yokohama BC keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Saitama Broncos still closes the standings with two games lost. Yokohama BC will have a break next round.
