Very predictable result when top-ranked Treviglio (3-0) beat at home 12th ranked Mirandola (1-3) 77-65 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Treviglio. Mirandola was better in fourth quarter 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Mirandola 40-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. The former international power forward Riccardo Perego (203-81) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. point guard Simone Ferrarese (182-87) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four Treviglio players scored in double figures. Treviglio's coach Adriano Vertemati used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Alessandro Mancin (208-86) produced 22 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Jordan Losi (182-80, agency: Two Points) added 16 points, 8 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Treviglio have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Bari. Newly promoted Mirandola dropped to the fifteenth place with three games lost. Treviglio will face Chieti (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Mirandola will play against Chieti.
