No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Mitsubishi K. (5-1) beat 9th ranked Niigata (1-5) in Tokyo 76-60 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 41-24 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Mitsubishi K. outrebounded Niigata 41-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for international forward Chika Sakuragi (179-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Center Enjin Wantsu (189-87) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Mitsubishi K. players scored in double figures. Guard Seiko Kawakami (165-88) answered with 12 points and forward Inoue Ai (172-90) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Niigata.
