Regular Season Round 4: Antibes - St Vallier 102-82

ProB top team - Olympique Antibes (4-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Saint Vallier (1-3) 102-82. The game was mostly controlled by Olympique Antibes. Saint Vallier was better in third quarter 28-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Olympique Antibes players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a very good performance for American forward Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 7 rebounds. The other American import point guard Trevor Huffman (185-79, college: Kent St., agency: Interperformances) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 assists for the winners. Naturalized Mali power forward Dramane Diarra (203-80, college: Kansas St.) replied with 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American Corey Rouse (204-84, college: E.Carolina, agency: Court Side) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Saint Vallier. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Saint Vallier's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Olympique Antibes have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Pau-Lacq-Orthez. Saint Vallier at the other side dropped to the thirteenth place with three games lost. Olympique Antibes' next round opponent will be ALM Evreux (#4) on the road. Saint Vallier will play against Fos Ouest (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
