Regular Season Round 4: Nassjo - Solna 77-79

Date: October 16, 2012
Bottom-ranked Nassjo (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 79-77 loss to fourth ranked Solna Vikings (3-1) in Nassjo on Tuesday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Nassjo was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 26-19 charge of Solna Vikings, which allowed them to win the game. Nassjo was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Kelvin Lewis (195-88, college: Houston) fired 26 points for the winners. Slovakian power forward Justin Sedlak (205-87, college: Florida Tech) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. American forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN, agency: Warren Sports International) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Kim Palmqvist (200-88) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Solna Vikings moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Nassjo still closes the standings with four games lost. Solna Vikings will face 08 Stockholm (#6) at home in the next round. Nassjo will play against Norrkoping Dolphins (#10) in Norrkoping and hopes to get finally their first victory.
