Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Montevideo: Olimpia (#15) and Bohemios (#13). Bohemios were defeated at home 74-81 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bohemios. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 27-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Olimpia made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Bohemios turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Omar Galeano (199-81) stepped up and scored 19 points and 4 assists for the winners and guard Juan Silveira (191-86, college: Weber St.) chipped in 19 points. Four Olimpia players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Chas McFarland (213-86, college: Wake Forest) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 20 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Rodrigo Trelles (191-88) scored 13 points and 6 assists. Bohemios' coach German Fernandez let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Olimpia (2-4) moved-up to thirteenth place. Loser Bohemios dropped to the fourteenth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
