The biggest surprise of round 4 was guest KTP-Basket's (3-1) easy road victory over one of their biggest challengers Forssan Koripojat (2-2) 105-83 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Forssan Koripojat. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by KTP-Basket. Forssan Koripojat managed to win second period 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KTP-Basket forced 19 Forssan Koripojat turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. KTP-Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Antwine Williams (192-75, college: N.Colorado, agency: Prossin Sports Management) fired 20 points and 5 assists for the winners. Canadian Sefton Barrett (196-83, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: Limelight Hoops) chipped in 19 points. American-Belizean point guard Charles Burgess (186-84, college: Texas Tech) produced 27 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Jahmar Thorpe (198-84, college: Houston) added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KTP-Basket moved-up to second place, which they share with LrNMKY and Kauhajoki. Newly promoted Forssan Koripojat dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with Kataja. KTP-Basket is looking forward to face LrNMKY (#4) in Lappeenranta in the next round. Forssan Koripojat will play on the road against Namika Lahti and is hoping to win this game.
