Regular Season Round 1: Sozh Gomel - Gorizont 42-76

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Sozh Gomel (0-1) at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were rolled over by Gorizont (1-0) 76-42. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 0-0 record before this meeting. The game was mostly controlled by Gorizont. Sozh Gomel managed to win second period 10-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They share the position with Victoria and BrGU. Gorizont will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Sozh Gomel will play at home against Tsmoki-Minsk (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
