The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Libertad Sunchales (9-2) on the court of second ranked Olimpico de La Banda on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Olimpico de La Banda 75-69. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in North. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-9. But Libertad Sunchales won second period 18-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Olimpico de La Banda maintains second place in North with 8-3 record behind leader Penarol. Libertad Sunchales at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Olimpico de La Banda are looking forward to face Quimsa (#4) in Santiado Estero in the next round. Libertad Sunchales will play on the road against Atenas in Cordoba and is hoping to win this game.
