There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked KFUM Jamtland (2-3) beat at home higher ranked White Eagles (2-3) 90-81 on Friday. White Eagles trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 13 after three quarters before a 19-15 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 81-90 at the end of the game. KFUM Jamtland dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to White Eagles' 40. KFUM Jamtland forced 20 White Eagles turnovers. White Eagles were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Croatian forward Drazen Klaric (204-80) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Darryl Hudson (195-85, college: Howard) contributed with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American forward Joseph Taylor (205-85, college: Wyoming) answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Omar Krayem (185-86, college: Cal.Baptist, agency: Three Eye Sports) added 18 points, 7 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for White Eagles.
