Undefeated Saynatsalon Riento (2-1) recorded its first loss in Jyvaskyla. Hosts were defeated by eighth ranked BC Nokia (1-2) 99-87. BC Nokia dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Saynatsalon Riento's 34. They outrebounded Saynatsalon Riento 47-31 including 33 on the defensive glass. Saynatsalon Riento was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American power forward Brian Moultrie (198-87, college: Armstr.Atlantic) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 19 rebounds. Kittitian power forward Kraidon Woods (205-88, college: Drake) helped adding 19 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was American guard C.J. Collins (180-88, college: McNeese St.) with 31 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import power forward Eryk Thomas (200-85, college: E.Tenn.St.) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Five BC Nokia and four Saynatsalon Riento players scored in double figures. BC Nokia left bottom position moving up to sixth place in Division. Saynatsalon Riento at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
