There was a surprise result when sixteenth ranked Chorale de Roanne (1-2) beat at home 4th placed Paris-Levallois (2-1) 74-65 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 8 points at the halftime before their 44-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Chorale de Roanne outrebounded Paris-Levallois 50-30 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was power forward Coleman Collins (206-86, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Matt Howard (203-89, college: Butler) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds.
