Regular Season Round 3: WKK Wroclaw - Sudety 73-84

There was a minor upset when second-best WKK Wroclaw (2-1) was defeated at home by leader Sudety (2-0) 84-73 on Saturday. It was a key game for the second position in Group B. The game was mostly controlled by Sudety. WKK Wroclaw was better in third quarter 22-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Sudety especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 71.4 percentage. The best player for the winners was guard Lukasz Niesobski (185-85) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 4 steals. point guard Michal Kozak (179-92) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Jan Grzelinski (178-94) who recorded 18 points and the former international swingman Bartosz Diduszko (198-87) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Four WKK Wroclaw players scored in double figures. WKK Wroclaw's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Sudety moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with HK Zory. Loser WKK Wroclaw dropped to the fourth position with one game lost. Sudety will face AZS AWF K-ce (#6) in Katowice in the next round. WKK Wroclaw will play against Wschowa.
