Regular Season Round 9: Toyota B SR - Yamanashi QB 109-51

Bottom-ranked Yamanashi QB (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 109-51 loss to eighth ranked Toyota B SR (3-4) in Aichi. The game without a history. Toyota B SR led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Yamanashi QB's 36. They outrebounded Yamanashi QB 45-24 including a 31-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Toyota B SR shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage. It was a good game for guard Yoshie Watanabe (162-86) who led her team to a victory with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Sakiko Nomachi (175-87) contributed with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Toyota B SR players scored in double figures. Center Misuzu Sato (180-89) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds and center Emii Fujioka (180-89) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Yamanashi QB. Toyota B SR moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Ebara Vickies. Yamanashi QB at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with seven games lost. They share the position with Aishin AW. Toyota B SR will again play against bottom-ranked Yamanashi QB (#12) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Yamanashi QB will have a break next round.
