Regular Season Round 3: Gravelines - Limoges 55-67

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Gravelines-Dunkerque (2-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Limoges CSP Elite (2-1) 67-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gravelines-Dunkerque. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 1-1 record before this meeting. The game was mostly controlled by Limoges CSP Elite. Gravelines-Dunkerque managed to win fourth quarter 20-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Limoges CSP Elite dominated on the defensive end, holding Gravelines-Dunkerque to just 3 points in second quarter. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Limoges CSP Elite keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 8 other teams including defeated Gravelines-Dunkerque. Limoges CSP Elite will meet at home Le Mans (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Poitiers (#14) and hope to secure a win.
