Bottom-ranked Kyoto Hannar. (0-4) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to sixth ranked Oita Heat Devils (3-1) 91-88 on Saturday evening. Kyoto Hannar. trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 32-22 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 88-91 at the end of the game. It was a great shooting night for Oita Heat Devils especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Taj Finger (205-86) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds and guard Wendell White (198-84, college: UNLV, agency: Top Notch Sports) who added 11 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four Oita Heat Devils players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Marcus Cousin (211-86, college: Houston) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and guard Jermaine Boyette (188-78, college: Weber St., agency: SportsTalent) scored 19 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Oita Heat Devils moved-up to third place. Loser Kyoto Hannar. still closes the standings with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
