Regular Season Round 5: CFBB - Quimper 62-89

Bottom-ranked CFBB (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 89-62 loss to sixth ranked Quimper UJAP (3-1) in Paris. The game without a history. Quimper UJAP led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Quimper UJAP outrebounded CFBB 43-28 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Nigerian forward Corey Raji (198-88, college: Boston Coll., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Naturalized Congolese forward Jean-Felix Moupegnou (201-82, college: Alabama) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Quimper UJAP players scored in double figures. Damien Inglis (203-95) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and Paul Rigot (201-95) added 17 points in the effort for CFBB. Quimper UJAP moved-up to fifth place. CFBB at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Quimper UJAP will play against La Rochelle (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play against Orchesien BC (#4) in Orchies and hopes to get finally their first victory.
