Everything could happen in Thessaloniki at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Aris and bottom-ranked Olympiakos had identical 0-2 record. This time Aris used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Athens 72-61. Olympiakos was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 41-25 second half run of Aris.
