Regular Season Round 5: LF Future - Taby 62-75

Date: October 21, 2012
The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated LF Future (4-1) in Lulea on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Taby Basket (6-0) 75-62. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of LF Future. The game was mostly controlled by Taby Basket. LF Future managed to win third quarter 21-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Jimmy Lundin (184-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Frank Nordin (-90) contributed with 9 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Guard Adam Ronnqvist (181-90) answered with 24 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Australian swingman Timothy Kearney (200-86) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for LF Future. LF Future's coach Jim Enbom rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Taby Basket have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place in North with 6-0 record. LF Future at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. They share it with Umea. Taby Basket are looking forward to face KFUM Blackebergs (#4) in Vallingby in the next round. LF Future will play at home against Jarva Devils and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
