Regular Season Round 10: Yamanashi QB - Toyota B SR 66-68

Bottom-ranked Yamanashi QB is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to eighth ranked Toyota B SR (4-4) 68-66. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-13. But Yamanashi QB won second period 23-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Yamanashi QB 47-34 including 32 on the defensive glass. Power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 23 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Mao Okada (166-88) chipped in 21 points. Forward Honoka Osanai (168-90) produced 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Mika Okada (174-87) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Toyota B SR moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Denso Iris. Yamanashi QB at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with eight games lost. Toyota B SR's next round opponent will be Niigata (#8) in Tokyo. Yamanashi QB will play on the road against Aishin Wings (#11) in Anjo and hopes to get finally their first victory.
