Everything could happen in Osaka at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Hitachi Sunrockers and 5th ranked Mitsubishi Dolphins had identical 1-4 record. This time Hitachi Sunrockers used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Nagoya 63-47 on Sunday night. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 63-47. Hitachi Sunrockers dominated on the defensive end, holding Mitsubishi Dolphins to just 4 points in second quarter.
