There was a minor upset when higher ranked Air Avellino (1-3) lost on the road to sixteenth ranked Vanoli Cremona (1-3) 94-83 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-83. Vanoli Cremona had a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Air Avellino was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch.
