Very important is a road loss of first ranked TuNMKY (3-1) against fifth ranked Kerava Energia Team (2-2) on Sunday night. Visiting TuNMKY was crushed by Kerava Energia Team in Kerava 90-71. The game was mostly controlled by Kerava Energia Team. TuNMKY was better in fourth quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kerava Energia Team dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to TuNMKY's 34. Kerava Energia Team forced 23 TuNMKY turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a very good performance for naturalized American guard La Trice Little (187-79, college: Mercy) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Cameroonian power forward Rudolf Mua (201-80) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. Four Kerava Energia Team players scored in double figures. Forward Sakari Salminen (200-87) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and forward Oskari Immonen (197-93) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for TuNMKY. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Kerava Energia Team maintains fifth position in Division with 2-2 record. TuNMKY at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still keeps top place with one game lost. Kerava Energia Team's next round opponent will be higher ranked KaU Koris (#3) in Karkkila and it may be quite challenging game. TuNMKY will play on the road against the league's second-placed JyWe in Jyvaskyla and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
