Hamamatsu Phoenix (#4) was upset in Fukuoka by eighth ranked Fukuoka Rizing 106-96. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hamamatsu Phoenix. The game was mostly controlled by Fukuoka Rizing. Hamamatsu Phoenix was better in third quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Hamamatsu Phoenix 38-22 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Fukuoka Rizing especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Americans were the main players on the court.
