BJ League top team - Okinawa GK (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Takamatsu FA (2-2) 95-69. The game without a history. Okinawa GK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American swingman Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) stepped up and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and British power forward Dzaflo Larkai (203-81, college: Bellarmine, agency: Top Notch Sports) chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Okinawa GK players scored in double figures. American power forward Paul Williams (208-83, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: I.D.S. Law) responded with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and the other American import power forward Robert Johnson (203-81, college: Oregon) scored 8 points and 11 rebounds. Takamatsu FA's coach Kenzo Maeda gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Okinawa GK. They maintain first place with 4-0 record, which they share with Akita NH and Shimane SM. Loser Takamatsu FA keeps the sixth position with two games lost. Okinawa GK will face Shiga L-Stars (#4) at home in the next round.
