The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Boras Basket (5-1) on the court of ninth ranked Norrkoping Dolphins on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Norrkoping Dolphins 96-79. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Boras Basket. The game was mostly controlled by Norrkoping Dolphins. Boras Basket managed to win fourth quarter 25-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Boras Basket 45-33 including 34 on the defensive glass. Norrkoping Dolphins looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Icelandic guard Pavel Ermolinskij (202-87, agency: I.D.S. Law) scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Latvian point guard Edgars Jeromanovs (186-86) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach Paul Burke used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international center Michael Palm (209-79, college: W.Washington, agency: R.H.Consultancy) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and American point guard James Miller (180-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) scored 18 points and 6 assists. Five Norrkoping Dolphins and four Boras Basket players scored in double figures. Defending champion (3-3) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with LF Basket and 08. Boras Basket at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Sodertalje. Norrkoping Dolphins is looking forward to face higher ranked Uppsala Basket (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Boras Basket will play against KFUM Jamtland and is hoping to win this game.
