Bottom-ranked Amsterdam (0-5) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to fifth ranked Zwolle (3-2) 83-71 on Thursday evening. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 15-point lead at the halftime then Amsterdam managed to tie the game at the end of regular time. However that was Zwolle who were better in overtime eventually winning that period 14-2. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Amsterdam to just 6 points in second quarter. Zwolle forced 24 Amsterdam turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Darryl Webb (198-88, college: Indiana, PA, agency: Pro One Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 17 rebounds and forward Arno Bunnig (197-85) who added 20 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international guard Aaron Roye (185-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and the former international guard Jeremy Ormskerk (190-82, agency: Court Side) scored 15 points. Amsterdam's coach Tyronne Marioneaux tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zwolle have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with M.Magixx. Loser Amsterdam still closes the standings with five games lost. Zwolle will face Rotterdam (#8) on the road in the next round.
