Regular Season Round 6: Antibes - St Quentin 84-91

The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Olympique Antibes (5-1) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by seventh ranked Saint-Quentin (4-2) 91-84. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Olympique Antibes. The guests trailed by 19 points at the halftime before their 58-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for power forward Julien Lesieu (201-83) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. American-Ghanian Amu Saaka (198-88, college: Furman, agency: Pro One Sports) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Senegalese center Moussa Badiane (205-81, college: E.Carolina) replied with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Olympique Antibes. Four Olympique Antibes players scored in double figures. Saint-Quentin moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Olympique Antibes at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Pau-Lacq-Orthez. Saint-Quentin is looking forward to face SPO Rouen (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olympique Antibes will play against Fos Ouest (#14) and is hoping to win this game.
