Regular Season Round 13: Argentino - Obras 72-66
Date: October 26, 2012
Very expected game when 7th ranked Obras (4-7) lost to third ranked Argentino (8-5) in Junin 66-72 on Friday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a very good performance for American forward Kavon Lytch (199-87, college: Oklahoma City, agency: Dream Team Management) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds. The former international point guard Nicolas De los Santos (180-88) contributed with 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. International power forward Juan Gutierrez (205-83) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds and international forward Pablo Espinoza (200-87) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Obras. Newly promoted Argentino maintains third place in South with 8-5 record having just one points less than leader Penarol. Obras lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. Argentino will face Boca Juniors (#6) in Buenos Aires in the next round. Obras will play on the road against 9 de Julio in Rio Tercero and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
