Regular Season Round 6: Hyeres-Toulon - St Vallier 84-89

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Saint Vallier and 15th ranked Hyeres-Toulon had identical 2-3 record. But Hyeres-Toulon was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Saint Vallier 89-84 on Friday night. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Hyeres-Toulon won fourth quarter 28-26. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American-Ivorian guard Errick Craven (188-83, college: USC) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. American Corey Rouse (204-84, college: E.Carolina, agency: Court Side) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. point guard Axel Julien (185-92) replied with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American power forward Terence Dials (206-83, college: Ohio St.) added 21 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Hyeres-Toulon. Five Saint Vallier and four Hyeres-Toulon players scored in double figures. Saint Vallier (3-3) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Hyeres-Toulon dropped to the thirteenth position with four games lost. Saint Vallier will face Bordeaux (#17) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hyeres-Toulon will play against ALM Evreux (#6) and be promoted back to the ProA just one year after relegation.
