Everything went according to plan in Santoago de Comp where fifth ranked Blusens Monbus (4-1) outleveled 14th ranked Cajasol (1-4) 82-61 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Blusens Monbus. Cajasol was better in fourth quarter 22-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Blusens Monbus shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Alberto Corbacho (201-84) who scored 20 points. Puerto Rican point guard Andres Rodriguez (184-81, college: American) chipped in 11 points and 7 assists. Four Blusens Monbus players scored in double figures. Serbian guard Milenko Tepic (200-87, agency: Beo Basket) produced 11 points and 5 assists and Czech point guard Tomas Satoransky (201-91) added 12 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Blusens Monbus moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Cajasol at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with four games lost. Blusens Monbus will face CAI Zaragoza (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cajasol will play against Valencia Basket.
