Very expected game when 12th ranked Poitiers (1-3) lost at home to third ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (3-1) 92-75 on Saturday. The game without a history. Gravelines-Dunkerque led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a very good performance for American point guard Dwight Buycks (190-89, college: Marquette) who helped to win the game recording 25 points. The former international center Ludovic Vaty (206-88, college: Moraine Valley CC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Gravelines-Dunkerque players scored in double figures. Gravelines-Dunkerque's coach Christian Monschau used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Ahmad Nivins (206-87, college: St.Joseph's) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and American-Italian guard Anthony Dobbins (194-81, college: Richmond) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Poitiers.
