Alba Chorzow's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Kloszko, where they defeated Nysa Klodzko (0-4) 80-66 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 28-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The winners were led by forward Tomasz Gembus (198-87) who scored that evening 20 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Krzysztof Wozniak (200-82) supported him with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Alba Chorzow's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 18 points and 7 assists by point guard Marcin Kowalski (182-82) did not help to save the game for Nysa Klodzko. Center Jaroslaw Bartkowiak (202-85) added 13 points for lost side. Alba Chorzow (1-3) left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with Mickiewicz. It was Nysa Klodzko's fourth loss in a row. They still closes the standings with four games lost. Alba Chorzow will meet at home Mickiewicz (#9) in the next round. Nysa Klodzko will play against HK Zory and hopes to get finally their first victory.
